About The Role:

We’re looking for a freelance video editor who actually knows what they’re doing.
Ideally, you’ve worked with big creators or have a solid portfolio that proves you can edit both short-form and long-form content whether that’s YouTube videos, ads, or VSLs.

You need to understand social media inside out the marketing, the pacing, the psychology behind what makes people stop scrolling and keep watching.
You know how to grab attention in the first few seconds and keep it until the very end.

We work fast, and deadlines are tight, so reliability and speed are non-negotiable.
If you get the game and you can deliver high-quality edits consistently we want to work with you.

What You'll do:

• Edit high-impact long-form videos and VSLs — from structuring the story, building pacing, and shaping the energy, all the way to color, sound, and final polish.

• Work fast without losing quality. We move quickly, and you’ll be expected to hit deadlines while maintaining a top-tier standard.

• Be flexible and solution-oriented. If something isn’t performing, you’ll dive back in and fix it FAST. No ego!

• Communicate clearly. You’ll work directly with our producers and creative leads, so we expect clear communication, reliability, and professionalism.

• Stay organized. Every edit should be clean, labeled, and export-ready we hate messy file chaos.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 1–3+ years of editing long-form YouTube videos, VSLs, or documentary-style content. Ideally you’ve worked on videos that have done serious view counts or been part of a professional content team.

• Portfolio: You have a strong portfolio that shows storytelling, pacing, and visual clarity. We want to see content that actually kept people watching.

• Speed & Accountability: You’re fast, reliable, and you take ownership. When you commit to a deadline, you hit it.

• Software Skills: Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro (DaVinci or Final Cut are fine too). You should also know your way around After Effects for basic motion graphics, text animation, and transitions.

• Understanding of YouTube: You know what keeps retention up. You get how pacing, hook placement, and emotional payoff affect performance.

• Communication: You’re easy to reach, handle feedback like a pro, and actually care about delivering your best work.
